Bousouzoku

Tidak hanya di Indonesia yang memiliki masalah dengan geng motor yang kerap meresahkan warga. Geng motor atau mobil pun ada di Jepang. Apakah kalian pernah mendengar istilah Bousouzoku? (sumber: Animonster 104)

Geng motor atau mobil di Jepang dikenal dengan istilah bousouzoku, yang artinya kurang lebih "kelompok yang melakukan kekerasa lalu melarikan diri." Bousouzoku muncul pertama kali di Jepang pada tahun 1950-an ketika industri otomotif sedang berkembang pesat. Pada saat itu geng motor disebut sebagai kaminari-zoku (kelompok petir).

Istilah bousouzoku kini lebih mengarah pada geng motor/mobil yang umumnya anggotanya terdiri dari anak-anak muda berusia di bawah 20 tahun (usia kedewasaan di Jepang), yang hobi memodifikasi motor/mobil Jepang menjadi mobil/motor gaya Amerika atau mobil balap Inggris, melepas knalpot agar kendarannya menimbulkan suara bising, dll. Istilah bousouzoku juga ditujukan untuk orang-orang yang mengendarai kendaraan secara kebut-kebutan dan ugal-ugalan, melanggar rambu lalu lintas, tidak menggunakan helm, dll. Orang-orang semacam itu disebut juga oleh polisi Jepang sebagai maru-so. Keberadaan maru-so ini cukup meresahkan masyarakat dan para polisi Jepang kewalahan menghadapinya. Mengapa? Karena hampir sebagian besar dari mereka mantan kriminal yang direkrut yakuza. Bila sedang beraksi di jalanan (biasanya malam dan di atas jam 8 malam), bousouzoku berteriak-teriak disertai bisingnya suara knalpot kendaraan mereka sambil mengibarkan bendera kekaisaran Jepang, melemparkan botol minuman keras, kadang diantara mereka juga membawa senjata tajam. Beberapa anggota bousouzoku juga suka terlihat mengenakan masker atau penutup wajah agar tidak ada yang mengenalinya.

Bousouzoku membentuk klub yang tersebar di seluruh Jepang, dan diantara anggotanya terdapat geng motor wanita (disebut ladies). Mereka dapat dikenali dengan mudah dari dandanannya yang stylish dan motor yang dimodifikasi. Para anggota geng motor wanita ini juga sering berpartisipasi dalam balapan motor. Jarang sekali ada anggota bousouzoku yang berusia di atas 20 tahun, karena di atas usia tersebut selain dianggap kekanak-kanakan, juga dikategorikan sebagai pelaku tindak kriminal mengingat usia mereka sudah dianggap dewasa dan seharusnya mengerti hukum.

Keberadaan bousouzoku ini seringkali dimunculkan dalam manga/anime, maupun film. Biasanya geng tersebut digambarkan khas mengenakan atribut utama berupa seragam dengan jas panjang seperti jas laboratorium, atau tokko fuku berupa jas militer yang dibagian punggungnya terdapat huruf kanji, namun tidak mengenakan baju dalaman agar terlihat perban yang memilit dibagian perut. Sedangkan celana panjang yang dikenakan berupa celana baggy yang gombrang, dipadukan dengan sepatu boots. Kadang-kadang bousouzoku juga digambarkan mengenakan jaket kulit yang terdapat bordir logo klub geng. Atribut tambahan yang sering dikenakan antara lain kacamata hitam, hachimaki (ikat kepala) bertuliskan slogan atau huruf kanji, dan yang terutama adalah gaya rambut yang ditata ala rocker atau punk. Sedangkan geng motor wanita biasanya digambarkan dengan gaya yang serupa tapi menggunakan rok dan sepatu boots dengan hak tinggi.

Omamori

Secara harfiah, arti kata Omamori (お守り) adalah “melindungi atau mempertahankan”. Omamori ini digunakan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan perlindungan secara menyeluruh terhadap permasalahan dalam kehidupan misalnya seperti penyakit, kecelakaan, kebakaran, keselamatan dalam kelahiran bayi, kebangkrutan, ujuian dan lain-lain. Seperti yang telah disebutkan sebelumnya, Omamori ini banyak dijual di Jinja atau Otera. Omamori biasanya terbuat dari kain yang berupa kantong, dan diatasnya tertulis nama dewa atau suatu aksara doa. Di dalamnya berisi potongan kain atau kertas, dan bahan lain yang berukuran kecil, yang disebut dengan busshin atau kesshin. Omamori senantiasa selalu dibawa seseorang, dan biasanya Omamori itu diikatkan di tas ransel, dompet, handphone, atau di mobil.

Ada suatu kepercayaan yang menyebutkan bahwa Omamori tidak boleh dibuka karena bisa kehilangan kemanjurannya sebagai jimat. Ada pula yang menyebutkan Omamori hanya bertahan selama setahun saja setelah itu Omamori tersebut harus dibawa ke kuil untuk dikembalikan. Kita tidak boleh membuang Omamori lama ke tempat sampah. Membuang Omamori bisa berarti sebagai sebuah penghinaan terhadap Kami-sama. Setelah Omamori dikembalikan ke Jinja, kemudian akan dibakar. Membakar Omamori yang sudah lama merupakan suatu bentuk penghormatan tethadap Kami-sama yang telah melindungi seseorang sepanjang tahun. Oleh karena itu, suatu hal biasa untuk mengembalikan Omamori ke Jinja pada saat tahun baru untuk ditukar dengan yang baru. Dengan begini, pengunjung Jinja tersebut akan memulai tahun yang baru dengan semangat baru dari Omamori tersebut.

Selain itu, ada beberapa jenis Omamori yang dibedakan berdasarkan fungsinya. Berikut ini macam-macam Omamori yang paling banyak diperjualkan, antara lain: kanai anzen (jimat keberuntungan untuk kesehatan), koutsu anzen (jimat pelindung untuk pengemudi atau orang yang bepergian dengan kendaraan agar terhindar dari kecelakaan), enmusubi (jimat bagi para kekasih agar cinta mereka bertahan lama), anzan (jimat untuk para ibu hamil agar melahirkan dengan semangat), gakugyoujoju (jimat untuk para pelajar sekolah agar berhasi dalam studi), dan shobaihanjo (jimat keberuntungan dalam melakukan bisnis). Belakangan bahkan dibuat juga Omamori yang menampilkan gambar-gambar lucu dari tokoh-tokoh kartun seperti Hello Kitty, Snoopy, dan Mickey Mouse.
